what we do New Moon Gardens is a garden design, installation and maintenance firm. We love our work (mostly!) and we are proud of our results.
We have implemented many diverse projects over the years, from the traditional to the avant garde, from small to big, from subtle to outrageous. Our projects have included all aspects of garden installation.
We can expertly design and work with our associates to implement projects that include extensive hardscapes, garden structure contruction, grading and site preparation, water features, habitat restoration, all types of planting and ongoing garden development and fine garden maintenance, including decorative gardening like containers and styling. We don't, however, do grass. Sorry! We are strongly adept at the most creative aspects of gardening and, indeed, view garden design as a profound and challenging art form. Our clients are generally comfort seekers, intellectual, mindful of aesthetics and inclined toward living well. They are often frustrated gardeners, with little time, but with a real desire to have a lovely garden.
If we could choose the perfect projects, they would be a combination of small, tight spaces, where everything that is chosen is perfect and perfectly maintained, home garden renovations where the architecture and setting provide the inspiration for new ideas and strengthened design styles, and large, expansive properties, where a love of the land can be highlighted, refined and distilled to an art form. Indeed, it has been opur pleasure to have included all of these prototypes in the scope of our work over the years. We love a creative project and excell when challenges are presented. |
